An old fiddler travels around the world. Looking for the second part of his music that is lost. When he finds a gypsy girl who reveals him his destiny. Through the following story:


The King is getting blind. His two sons travel to distant lands to try to find the cure to his disease, crossing the Big Sea until the Island of Crying, where the Marmot Queen lives. This fable, full of enchantment, adventures and kindness, proposes a reflection on both blindness of desire and courage to face one’s own destiny.

In this Musical by Cia Ópera na Mala, created and played by Cris Miguel and Sergio Serrano, actors, puppets and shadows interact. The music is the mote and also the guideline.
The puppets are constructed from different musical instruments, whose specific music helps to compose each character of the story.
The play has 1 hour and is allowed for children over 4.
