An old trunk is rescued from a shipwreck by a diver. Inside of it are the belongings of an Opera Company.
Dresses, wigs, hats, and an old gramophone share the place with two ghosts, illustrious singers of the most famous operas. Now they are free from many years of abandon at the bottom of the ocean, to tell and sing Bizet, Mozart, Rossini and Verdi’s opus.
Cris Miguel and Sergio Serrano play the phantoms, telling the story using many techniques of puppets. They recreate the original musical pieces, featuring live music (accordion, mandolin, violin and cavaquinho, a small guitar) and also using computer arrangements.
The intention is to rescue and play at the same time with opuses which are very popular and much unknown, showing the audience a little bit of Carmen, The Magic Flute, The Barber of Seville , and others in a playful and well-humored way.
The spectacle is focused in an infant-teen audience, has fifty minutes, and embodies the street theatre language, affording presentations in alternative spaces.
Ok for children over 4.
